Certainly among the most visible amenities are our five lakefront parks, all owned and maintained by the Blue Lake Estates Property Owners Association (BLEPOA).
Blue Lake parks are for the exclusive use of BLEPOA members and their guests.
WENNMOHS PARK is perhaps the most popular Blue Lake Park, featuring two docks, a swimming beach and picnic tables scattered among large native trees. Wennmohs is the site of the annual Blue Lake Estates 4th of July fireworks display—one of the most spectacular on Lake LBJ.
DEVIL’S HOLLOW PARK is filled with facilities to suit just about everyone: A sport court area featuring basketball, volleyball and various outdoor activities suitable for a hard surface, a shaded game area featuring bocce ball, washers and horseshoes. Balls are available in a storage area adjacent to the bocce ball court. An area fitted with a picnic table, a bench and swings (A great place to take the grandkids.) and a 1/2 mile long fitness trail with overhead bars and benches for stretching and pull ups. A boat launch ramp is available to all BLEPOA members at no charge. Obtain the combinations for all locks at the POA/MUD Office. Make sure you close and lock the gate when you have finished using the ramp. An area for boat and trailer storage is available to members at a nominal annual fee. DRIFTWOOD PARK adjacent to the Blue Lake Marina features a dock and lake swimming including a picnic table and plenty of open space for outdoor activities.
BLUE RIDGE PARK offers a quiet waterfront getaway with sloping lawn shaded by giant live oak trees, picnic table and swings.
SANDY CREEK PARK is designated as a storage area for utility trailers and boat trailers that will not be accessed on a regular basis There is a nominal annual fee for this accommodation. Information and arrangements for boat and trailer storage is available at the POA/MUD Office.
Llano County has a leash law, so remember to keep your pets restrained and pick up and remove all waste and trash, created either by your pets or you.
