Garbage

WEEKLY PICKUP:    Trash Service is mandatory in Blue Lake Estates and is contracted through Republic Services.  Inquires about services should be directed to the MUD#1 office.  Republic Services performs its weekly garbage pick-up at residences each Tuesday morning. If you plan to leave garbage for pick-up at street side, it must be in the blue garbage container(s) provided to you by 7:30 am.

Republic Services drivers will not leave their truck to pick up items not containerized.

If you do not have a serviceable blue garbage container at your residence, please call the MUD office  (830) 598-5460.

FALL & SPRING PICKUP (LARGE TRASH ITEMS):  The MUD schedules a Fall and Spring Bulk Pick-up. This date will be provided as scheduled and will afford all, including our weekend residents, a chance to dispose of large, bulky items that cannot be accommodated by the dumpsters.  Disposable items are to be left at the curb in front of your property, and may include, old mattresses; appliances (sans Freon); lumber or tree trimmings that do not exceed four (4) feet in length, are bundled and tied and weigh no more thirty-five (35) pounds. Illegal items (those listed previously in this article) will not be picked up.

Fall Bulk pickup is scheduled for 10/24/2017!

DUMPSTER USEAGE AND USEAGE CONTROL:  Dumpsters are for use by Blue Lake Property Owners ONLY!  Contractors are not permitted to use them. To aid in better controlling who uses the dumpsters and how, a camera system has been installed in the dumpster area to help us ID those visiting here. Fines ($100 minimum up to $1,000) will be assessed against those dumping illegally.

The Blue Lake garbage and trash disposal program is under the management of LCMUD.
